Where Can I Get an XML Listing for Natural Languages?

by nForms on December 20, 2011

I need for some application of mine an XML which contains all the (atleat major) languages of the world along with the ISO codes for it. Can someone point me to one?

You can get a list (in HTML) from the Library of Congress at http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/php/English_list.php
It shouldn’t be too hard to convert it to XML, as all the entries are contained within a table, one row per language, four columns for the information.
